CLUSTORE
FULLY AUTOMATED VENDING SYSTEM
FOR DECENTRALIZED STORES
BACKGROUND
.
The clustore project is the first concrete application of MorgenWerk’s basic technology, which implements dynamic logistics in three-dimensional space. Cloud-supported swarms of extremely inexpensive shuttles constantly carry all items and drive to the customer immediately after the order has been placed. The project is supported by the Invest BW innovation program of the state of Baden-Württemberg.
USE CASES
- “mom-and-pop-store” for local supply, especially in rural areas
. - „Farmers store“ for the direct marketing of agricultural businesses
. - petrol station, drugstore, discount store etc.
. - automated outlet with connection to production facilities and/or large warehouses
CHARACTERISTICS
- modularly scalable in all three dimensions
. - variable performance in terms of access times and customer frequency
. - suitable for installation in existing buildings, even with amorphous room layouts
. - can be expanded into a stand-alone building with integrated wall and roof modules
. - almost unlimited range of products – any shape, rigid or flexible,
FUNCTIONS

INNOVATION & USP
.
A fundamentally new concept
Autonomous shuttles carry and transport the available
articles in constantly positioned goods carriers.
They park and move freely on multi-storey levels that can be
levels, which are linked by lifts that can be integrated as required.
Our software enables dense block storage with
simultaneous access to each individual stand.
The fully comprehensive IoT system controls all warehouse,
picking and transfer processes automatically.
The shuttles with the ordered items move immediately
to the delivery gates after ordering and
enable fast access times.
The consistent small-cell modularity allows any space
any room layout.

New business model – pay per use
The universal modular principle enables the
MorgenWerk modules can be stocked by the manufacturer or
at the manufacturer or at affiliated service providers.
Operators can use them to configure complete systems.
In the event of changes in demand in terms of capacity or performance
the number of modules can be flexibly adjusted at any time.
Morgenwerk acts directly or via service partners as a
full-service provider. It offers the hosting of
modules with cloud-supported preventive maintenance
and repairs, as well as installation and dismantling.

Almost unlimited expansion of the application
Linking of different fields
Clustore systems can be linked to large
lanes with storage areas or production facilities.
Decentralized sales systems can be integrated directly into residential complexes and also combined with transfer stations for delivery services of all kinds.
Industrial use
e.g. demand-oriented overhead supply from central warehouses
warehouses to assembly lines and production lines
